Our Story

Foxholm is a small family cattery in Sweden, run by me and my daughter, united by a shared passion for Somali cats. What we build together is not just breeding — it is a thoughtful, long-term dedication to the breed, combining knowledge, experience, and genuine care. Each kitten grows up as part of our daily life, surrounded by attention, interaction, and trust. We work closely with every cat from an early age, focusing on socialization, confidence, and emotional connection with people.

Alongside this, we follow a structured and selective breeding approach. We carefully plan each pairing, aiming for harmony between type, coat quality, and temperament — raising not only beautiful cats, but well-balanced companions. Our work is also reflected in the show results. Our young female, Foxholm April, achieved Best in Show (WCF) at just 5 months of age — a result that represents the quality and direction of our breeding program.

At present, we are especially focused on developing our blue Somali lines, while maintaining strong, expressive sorrel and classic ruddy types, as well as the rare and delicate fawn.

For us, Foxholm is more than a cattery.

It is a space built on connection, responsibility, and respect for the breed — where each kitten is raised to become a true companion.
